Why an Integral Vision on Organizational Development?

“In all intellectual debates, both sides tend to be correct in what they affirm, and wrong in what they deny.”

John Stuart Mill

A unilateral approach based on dualistic mindsets ascertains that in the early 21st century, people and businesses are still living in separate worlds.  One ‘truth’ closes the door to another, and so humanity walks behind while Universal evolution is calling for connection, growth and integration. Hence the need for an Integral Vision or an Integral ‘Operating System’, a neutral map where all views can connect with each other, not excluding but including. A map that considers man as a living system and sees the organization as a living (moving) organism. Such a neutral integral map highlights different perspectives, thus allowing consideration with clarity and care, whilst also enabling an understanding of all situations in all spheres of life, including business. The strength of such an Integral Approach is that in addition to an expanded comprehension of a situation, there is also an expanded range of resources and methodologies available so that the chance of success is more likely (success is measured in terms of excellence in business, social change, personal transformation, or just luck in life).
