How can we link the human aspect inherent to the sector in a fruitful way to the economic side of the sector which bears increasing pressure?
How do we create a service-minded and patient-friendly internal culture that is both efficient and streamlined?
How do we maintain or endorse the positive image of our institution?
Questions that are not obvious but that consciously or unconsciously occur at every level of the health sector and need to be faced.
We need an open heart, a determined mind and the will to create health care facilities that integrate the full spectrum of value awareness (cfr R. Barrett) to be able to contribute substantially to a healthy society.
